JOSEMA ROIG director 

Josema Roig is a Los Angeles based writer/director from Valencia, Spain. Pioneer in Film and Immersive Storytelling, he started his film career as a cinematographer. A severe back injury in 2010 forced him to face his dreams and pursue directing. In 2011 Josema directs his first short ANITA (Best Young Director Zaragoza 2012), and in 2012 joins the American Film Institute. (STARMAN, 2015), his thesis film, played in over 40 Film Festivals and won 8 Best Short awards around the globe including Minneapolis, Memphis, Rome, Palma, and others.

 

His first VR project, THE ARGOS FILE proof of concept featurette, won the prestigious Proto Award for Best Live Action Experience and it premieres internationally at the 74 Biennale di Venezia.
